To have a trip always broaden your heart...

It's more than one week since arrived at here. Everything seems to be fine. Didn't meet any difficulties or communication obstacles.

People here are very nice. Even there are many culture differencies, they work together, play togethery in a very wonderful atmosphere. What's more, they are glad to help. Some old grad students came by our orientation and gave us many useful guidances, both in academia and entertainment.

nfortunately, I don't have any courses = =. I plan to have a careful examination to grainger engineering library. This term I selected 4 courses, introduction to data mining, advanced database system and computer system organization, plus a english wrinting course. I'm going to concentrate data management and mining, information retrieval as my research areas, even though have no too many experiences on them before. For a master student, it's a big tradeoff between doing research and improving technical skills. How to strike the balance, that's the question I'm considering these days.... (共 1482 字节)

半小时前当我点击UIUC网页里的accept this admission的时候，意味着耗时两年的出国留学计划基本完成，尘埃终于落定，卖给了UIUC……

今晚必定是一个不眠之夜，我不得不在这记录点什么，因为就在半个小时前，我做出了一个很crazy的决定：放弃两个全额奖学金读博士的机会，选择了自费读硕士……

接受……这一辈子我就有这么几年热血澎湃的年龄，不洒些血汗我肯定会后悔……... (共 4973 字节)

今天算是卖出了这辈子的第一个自己写的软件吧，虽然过程中有些波折……小程序员写出的东西终于有人要了，很开心……

卖得很便宜，卖的时候也没打算去赚别人的钱，也就是意思意思，体验一下交易的全过程……

收到钱后立马和团队的兄弟们分赃了……该干啥干啥去……

之前先是各种忙，然后是各种玩，导致博客好久没有更新了，用这篇文章打破一下沉寂……
